September Choir Retreat

Coastal Voices kicked off the 23/24 season with a choir “retreat” at the Newport Performing Arts Center in early September. The day long event included “get to know you” sessions with sections and section leaders, break out sessions to workshop song parts for the upcoming holiday concerts, full choir rehearsals on the PAC stage, presentations by the board on choir business, the new website, and volunteer opportunities, and a fabulous pot luck lunch. It was a great start to what will no doubt be a wonderful season!
